New York Man Convicted In Fatal Boating Crash
An upstate New York man has been found guilty of the boating death of an 8-year-old California girl who was on holiday with her family on an Adirondack lake in July of last year. Alexander West, 25, has been found guilty of a range of charges, including second-degree manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, boating while impaired by alcohol and leaving the scene of a crash, after his motor boat collided with the McCue’s family boat. He faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison.
